When I was on my first visit to Sarajevo, I happened to overhear part of Enes’s tour and was immediately struck by how passionate, engaging, and deeply knowledgeable he was. Even just listening in from the side, I could feel how alive he made the city’s history. At that moment, I knew that if I ever brought a group back to Sarajevo, he had to be our guide.

A few months later, I reached out to Enes, and not only did he remember me, but he turned out to be one of the kindest, most helpful people I’ve worked with. As we got closer to the visit, he was always quick to respond, generous with advice, and genuinely committed to helping make the experience great.

And then came the tour itself, and wow, it was absolutely AMAZING! Enes managed to capture the attention of 40 sixteen-year-olds for the entire experience (not a small feat!) and made Sarajevo’s complex history feel completely relatable, meaningful, and alive for them. His storytelling, empathy, and deep connection to the city created an unforgettable experience for all of us.
